Giles was a training sergeant and armorer in a major metropolitan police department, and a Gunsite instructor. As well as designing the "Giles" (pronounced Jiles) Sling, he asked us to make a small, multipurpose bag to carry tools, equipment, or an ammo kit. We did. At 4" x 5" x 12", the tough-as-nails Giles Bag has limitless uses with its full three-sided opening zipper and outside zippered pocket. It may seem expensive for it's size, but this is the best made utility bag you will ever see, made with the best materials and all the care of our larger bags. Holds up to 9x 30-rd. AR-15/M16 magazines.
All our bags are constructed of tough, water-repellent Cordura nylon. During construction, every cut edge is taped with nylon seam-tape. There are no raw edges in any of our products.
I bought a Giles bag 7 years ago and it’s still going strong - good as new. In this culture where it seems like just about everything is disposable, it’s refreshing to see great products like this from a great company like Wilderness. I forgot when I bought the bag & sure enough, I pulled up my orders on the website and there it was from Sept. 2011! Don’t be scared by the price - you get what you pay for and this bag is worth every penny. Every time I handle the bag & pull the zipper I’m reminded of the high quality. I see no reason why it would’t last a lifetime.
