The Basic Pocket Med Sleeve is a protective pouch intended to contain and safeguard a couple items of small trauma gear, which may include a pressure dressing, hemostatic gauze, or chest seals. We highly recommend compact versions of these as optimal for low-profile carry in any of our everyday carry products. To deploy the items, a simple squeeze at the closed-bottom end will immediately force the contained items up and out for grasping.
While this list is not all-inclusive, we have tested these representative items and can usually fit any two into the sleeve easily. Packaging edges and oversized grab-areas will typically need to be folded inward when inserting into the sleeve:

HyFin Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin Pack -- May be carriedwith the pair of seals folded over on top of each other to be more flat and extend from the sleeve, or folded over again to sit entirely inside the sleeve with twice the thickness. *Most current chest seals including the HyFin may be safely folded for storage without compromising their function.
The BPMS fits most pants and cargo pants and jacket pockets. It is a great substitute for our Ankle IFAK on shorts days when it is paired with our Basic Pocket Tourniquet Pouch (BPTQ).
A sister product of our Basic Pocket Mag and Tourniquet Pouches, the BPMS is made from our super heavy-duty XHD elastic webbing and stitched to last through years of daily pocket rigors.
