Adapted from our Wilderness ZipLoaderthe TwinLoader is a compact belt-mounted 2-round carrier for pistol cartridges and similar-sized items like batteries. It's primary purpose was to conveniently carry two handy rounds of snakeshot when hiking in potentially dangerous, snake-rich areas. It allows you to keep the revolver fully loaded with conventional ammunition, but quickly switch to the shot loads, or conversely to keep shot in the handgun but have the two replacement rounds ready to load. It can, of course, be used as a two-round emergency tactical reloader with conventional ammunition, and multiple carriers may be worn for increased reloading capacity.
The .38/.357 version will carry .38 Special and .357 Magnum caliber revolver cartridges.
The TwinLoader uses our signature wraparound quick-detach belt loop. It can be quickly put on or removed without needing to remove the belt. A hybrid of both our Zip Slide Holster and our stretchable ammunition and battery carriers, the ZipLoaders use our super-tough XHD (Extra-Heavy-Duty) elastic webbing. The wraparound belt loop is solidly secured by hook and loop fasteners on the side as well as a hook-and-loop security tab that wrap slightly over top. This ensures rock solid support even when inserting or removing cartridges.
*Note that the XHD elastic loops may be quite snug at first. This is necessary for the cartridges to remain secure under hard field use, as well as accounting for slight loosening of the loops over time.
