Frequent Flyer Belt - MultiCam Edition
NEW: Added Hook and Loop Options
We now offer the option of adding extra hook or loop fastener to the inside or outside of most of our belts. This is NOT the normal hook and loop closure; that is always standard on our belts. This optional hook & loop helps to secure many hook or loop fastener-lined duty belts and warbelts in place when using ours as an underbelt. When used on the inside, it can help lock our belt into place when using it over a hook or loop fastener-lined underbelt on your pants. Some pouches also feature hook or loop inside of their belt loops to aid in keeping them in place.
*Note that this option makes the belt a custom order which is non-returnable. Correct sizing is even more vital than usual, so please look at our sizing guide videos for proper fitment. Short video/long video **The slight added thickness and stiffness of the hook or loop fastener may not allow the belt body to fit through very tight belt channels on some holsters and accessory pouches.

All the same great features you know and love about our original Frequent Flyer Belt, the Wilderness quality
The belt body is still made of two layers of our custom-woven nylon webbing in Ranger green. The camouflage overlay is made of Murdock Webbing's jacquard-woven MultiCam webbing. The pattern is actually woven into the material and will not fade or abrade off. This accent webbing goes all the way around the belt. The belt's hook-and-loop closure is also made of authentic MultiCam loop pile.

*We strongly recommend using a measuring tape to check your correct size. Your pants size is not your correct belt size and is usually off by at least 2", and we have found that the markings on other belts are not always accurate. Please read and use our belt sizing guide.
If your measured belt size is over 50" we strongly encourage you to check out the Easy-Fit Instructor Belt and Easy-Fit Frequent Flyer
"The vast majority of Frequent Flyer Belt owners use them for daily wear, not just for airport convenience. The FF has the same capabilities to carry heavy items as The Original Instructor Belt but without the high-strength steel or Ti buckle. For daily carry and generalnon-life-support¬use, the Frequent Flyer with its polymer ring buckle system may be perfect for you.
Many like the 1-1/2" belt for casual use and have holsters with 1-1/2" loops or slots, but most use the 1-1/4" FF for general use. While we do have 1-3/4" FF's, they have trailed the other two in popularity. For ease of use and super-lightweight design, we think you should give the Frequent Flyer serious consideration. Whether you are a frequent flyer or even a never-flyer, this belt is the best answer to your need to hold up your pants and carry plenty of gear comfortably." -- Ralph Holzhaus, President
The Frequent Flyer is a 100% non-metallic, security-friendly belt. Naturally, it still meets the standards for quality and durability that we established with our Original Instructor Belts. The FF Belts are stylish for casual wear, come in a variety of widths to fit most pants, and are tough enough to hold up not just your pants and cell phone on a trip, but your full-size pistol, spare ammunition and a tactical flashlight back at home.
We took the winning design of our stylish Ring Belt and had new buckle rings designed and molded to our specs with our name on it. Molded of tough Delrin, the Frequent Flyer's rings act just like the Ring Belt's tough aluminum rings without setting off metal detectors -- or, as we are told, without marring your car's paint job while leaning over and washing it! (Thanks, Kurt) They also look sharp doing it, going well with cargo pants, casual slacks, shorts or jeans.
The design and construction made famous by our Original Instructor Belts are used in the Frequent Flyer-series as well. As with all of our tactical belts, two layers of webbing are used resulting in a durable belt that holds its shape and carries weight well.
Which Width Should I Buy?
The original 1-1/4" version of our Frequent Flyer Belt is sometimes overlooked as both a sportswear belt and concealed carry belt. Although more narrow, it has all same available sewing features as all of the other great Wilderness belts. Inside-the-waistband holsters and revolvers with the Barami Hip Grip can easily be carried, as well as OWB holsters carrying light autos and revolvers. Our Sonoran Shirts worn untucked with a 1-1/2" FF Belt round out a low-profile system for CCW capabilities with relaxed comfort.
Our travel-friendly 1-1/2" Frequent Flyer Belt has been incredibly popular. Still, many customers also wanted a wider version to match the belt loops on their gear, and to carry heavier weapons. We listened and had a scaled-up version of our tough Delrin buckle rings designed and molded. Now with the same 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" widths and construction as our legendary Instructor Belts, the expanded Frequent Flyer line does even more.
We use our premium, custom-made sling webbing for the classic 1-1/4" version, in Black, Coyote, or Ranger.
The 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" use the same durable webbing as our Instructor Belts. Our 1-3/4" belts fit most jeans and BDUs very well (please measure belt loops to be sure! We have found many off-brands have odd sizes that may not be correct). The 1-1/2" fit a wider variety of pants and shorts. The Frequent Flyer is available in Black, Coyote, or Ranger. A MultiCam Special Edition is available in 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" widths.
The 3-Stitch is standard, but they are also available in reinforced 5-stitch and Combat Shooters Model (C.S.M.) for better load-bearing.
This belt has no clip-in point and has not been designed for emergency securing or any form of life support.
NOTE: 44-49" add $5.00, 50-60" add $10.00, 60"+ add $15.00 on all belts (please call for 60"+ orders for advice on belt style); 44" and larger, or 32" and smaller, are custom made and non-returnable.
SECURITY POLICY UPDATE: It has come to our attention that new, more aggressive search policies by TSA personnel at some locations are requiring the removal of any belt, even if it is non-metallic/non-magnetic. While we have never guaranteed you wouldn't be asked to remove your belt (that is completely out of our control), our Frequent Flyer and Titanium Instructor Belts have largely passed through without the wearer being required to remove them -- a significant convenience over conventional metal-buckled belts to tens of thousands of our customers for years. They are still the most rugged, well-built, lightweight, micro-adjustable belts you can hold up your pants with, but they may not pass through security checkpoints unmolested as they typically have in the past. There is no excess that government will not go to if not stopped. |
