The TacStar Barrel/Magazine clamp gave me a perfect, adjustable attachment point for the front swivel * , and adding a rear swivel stud was a piece of cake. The stock is hollow, so I drilled a hole (slightly undersized) for an Uncle Mike's swivel with a "machine type" screw (taking care to avoid the upper recoil pad retaining screw), added a washer inside the stock for strength, and tightened up the nut. Per your suggestion, I called and ordered a Giles modified AUG sling, which arrived in about 5 days. Fit and function is perfect. All in all, a breeze, and I'm very pleased with the results. Thanks for your advice and encouragement." Best, George Rossetti *We recommend having a gunsmith install a swivel stud into the lug joining the barrel and mag tube. Although a mag tube clamp with swivel stud from Choate Machine and Tool or Tac-Star will work, if it becomes loose is may slide rearward and disable the weapon. Description

Winchester and Ithaca shotguns -- AVAILABLE ON A CUSTOM BASIS; Unfortunately, due to a lack of suitable factory attachment points we can not offer a simple solution for these weapon systems. However, if the user is prepared to make some simple modifications to add proper front and rear attachment points, we can provide a custom sling (essentially an extra-long AUG/USR sling) to match. User must add 1-1/4" (military width) sling swivels to the side of front of the weapon*, and to the side of the buttstock (studs available from Uncle Mike's). Bottom mounted swivels will not work in this case. These would be on the left side for a right-handed user, right side for a left-handed shooter. Sling swivels are available from Uncle Mike's, or we offer the exceptional Quake Hushstalker II coated swivels. Order them in our online shopping area under Rifle Slings>> Accessories.
